Overview
TechConnect is Interswitch's flagship multi-city innovation series, culminating in a live event at the Federal Palace Hotel in Lagos. The audience included the Central Bank of Nigeria, leading commercial banks, fintech executives, and technology leaders.
I was responsible for designing and animating every digital screen asset for the event, as well as the campaign's animated digital billboards displayed across Lagos.
The Challenge
The project had to be delivered in just over a week while supporting a live production with no room for error.
As preparations evolved, speaker names, session titles, schedules, and event copy changed repeatedly. Every update had to be reflected across multiple animated assets without delaying production.
The Approach
Rather than creating each animation as a standalone file, I designed a modular motion system that could adapt quickly to changing content.
By separating animation from editable text, I could replace names, session details, and messaging without rebuilding the motion each time. This reduced turnaround time and kept the production moving despite constant revisions.
The result was a flexible animation system that remained consistent across every screen throughout the event.
Event Experience
For the live event, I designed and animated:
Holding and idle screens
Animated countdown timer
Panel session title animations
21 animated speaker name plates
A 14-speaker line-up reveal
Each asset was designed to maintain visual consistency while supporting different moments throughout the programme.
City-wide Campaign
Beyond the venue, I designed and animated nine digital billboards displayed across Lagos to promote the event.
These outdoor executions extended the event identity into the city, building awareness before the conference and connecting the live experience with a wider audience.

I independently handled the motion design from concept through delivery, including:

The event branding and print collateral were developed separately by other members of the team.
